ABOUT KAVACH YANTRAS
Leveraging the Power of Mystical Geometry & Mantras
In Sanskrit, kavach means 'armour' or 'shield', a protective covering.
Kavach is an amulet, also known as raksha, elass, tayat or talisman. A yantra (geometrical pattern) is drawn on a silver sheet by an Upasaka, energized with a deity's essence, worshipping that deity by keeping the yantra for pooja, and then placed in a covering called Kavach.
Kavach is a WEARABLE YANTRA, worn on the waist or neck for the desired results.
Each yantra has a unique design with geometric patterns, each angle having its frequency linked to the deity's essence. Wearing an energized yantra aligns one's aura to its frequency. It will take few days for the yantra and body to tune-in together after which the body starts resonating along with the frequency of the yantra helping us achieve the intended outcome overtime.
YANTRAS
Yantras are visual mantras. A yantra is not just a tool or device to bring something what you desire for!
In Sanskrit, ‘yam’ means ‘to control’ and ‘tra’ means an instrument. Yantra is a mystical diagram from the Tantric traditions of India, representing sacred symbols in symmetry, depicting mantras to enhance spiritual elevation by dispelling negative energy and resonating positive energy. Yantras act as catalysts for specific purposes, energized by mantras and linked to a deity. Each vibration produces a geometric expression, with distinct notes and frequencies. Yantras transcend ‘form’ and ‘function’ through worship or meditation, emerging as power diagrams or shakti roopa with the ability to transform spiritual experiences into psychological ones. For centuries, people have used yantras to channel cosmic energies for personal and spiritual development.

SIGNIFICANCE OF VARIOUS SHAPES OF A YANTRA
A Yantra consist of a geometrical pattern made of several concentric figures such as circles, squares, lotuses, triangles, points etc. Every shape of a Yantra emits a very specific, beneficial energy pattern. All these represent the cosmic energies. The power of YANTRAS to induce RESONANCE is based on the SPECIFIC FORM of its appearance. From this point of view, we can argue that the YANTRA functions similarly to a mantra.
• Dot: It represents the focal point. It is the source of existence.
• Triangle: When the triangle is pointed upward, it means profound spiritual ambition and the element of fire (agni). Since the fire is constantly facing upward, it is associated with the Shiva Kona.
When the triangle is pointing downward, it symbolizes a feminine energy and the ultimate source of the universe. This downward-pointing triangle represents the water element (jala), which constantly has a tendency to flow. We call this triangle Shakti Kona.
• Shatkona: Two triangles, one pointing upward and the other downward, are superposed to form the Shatkona. It creates a common combination that is frequently seen in yantras structure. This figure symbolizes the union of Shiva and Shakti, or Purusha and Prakriti, which is the source of creation.
• Chakra: Chakra or circle represents rotation of the sphere which is most essential to the development of the cosmos. It represents the air element (Vayu Tattva) among the five fundamental elements (panchabhoota).
• Bhupura (Square): It is the outermost boundary of the yantra. It is a symbolical representation of the element earth (Prithvi Tattva). Most Yantras are surrounded by a square with four gates. These squares enact the material world while the gate enacts the access into the Yantra. The starting from the Bindu to the outer Square represents the sense of universal evolution.
• Padma (Lotus): symbolizes both purity and variety. It also represents freedom from multiple interference with exterior purity and expresses the absolute force of the supreme self. Every lotus petal represents a distinct aspect.
The different shapes, symbols, numbers inscribed inside are like the parts of a mechanism which guide us gradually towards its center, the Supreme Consciousness. Thus, a Yantra is a tool that enables us to go on an inward quest to discover our ultimate selves.
MAKING OF YANTRAS
Yantras can be two dimensional or three dimensional. Two dimensional yantras can be inscribed or etched on any plain surface like metal, paper or wood. It can be formed into a locket, or an amulet also referred to as talisman, tayat, elass or raksha.
Drawing of a Yantra needs accuracy, discipline, concentration, neatness and precision. They are usually drawn on a flat surface, such as a copper, silver or gold plate.
It is created by a Upasaka with proper instructions from his Guru and the blessings of Kuladevatha (family deity). They are created under definite rules with specific rituals & energized through a ‘Siddha mantra’, a process which invokes the power of a deity for any of the purposes such as to create, uphold, conceal or manifest.
Once the ‘lekhan’ (drawing the geometric shapes and writing the mantras with an intent) is complete, the yantra is submerged in water overnight (jalaadhivaas) after which the yantra is energized through a number of rituals.
The Tantric first sanctifies the ceremonial place with mantras and then, sanctifies his body, within and environment using mantras. This leads to the sanctification of the individual, inside and out. Through these different forms of purification, the Upasaka connects with his inner divinity and is prepared to invoke the Deity and make offerings. The Upasaka awakens the deity within by tantric techniques, and using distinct breathing patterns, mantras and hand postures (mudras), the deity is invoked in the yantra. The tantric who prepares the yantra gives a portion of his life energy (prana shakthi) to activate the deity in the Yantra. An elaborate pooja is offered and a certain number of havan is performed with the mantra of the corresponding residing deity and the ghee which has been energised (hutha shesha) is applied on the yantra. The process ends with a ritual called ‘Prana Prathishtha’ - chanting specific mantras to firm up the presence of the divine energy.
The final step is to consecrate the yantra, which involves further energization through offerings of incense, flowers, and other sacred items. Energizing the Yantras converts them from mere geometric diagrams to a ‘power diagram’ through which the contained invisible forces of energy, are invoked to begin working for the benefit of the individual.
Thus, each yantra contains the power of mantra and sadhana shakti.
Printed yantras have no power and will not serve the purpose
A yantra should be created by the organic process mentioned above and only then a yantra is energized and it will have prana (life).
Only when these structures are held by mantras, the mystical power in them can be unfolded. In printed yantras, machine creates the yantra and not an upasaka, without following rituals, not knowing the details of the beneficiary nor the intent (sankalpa). Without these processes, there is no power in yantras, and their value is limited to being geometrical structures.
HOW ARE YANTRAS AT KAVACH MADE?
All the yantras at Kavach are strictly handwritten specifically for the beneficiary. We collect the birth details and the intent before the process begins. Every Yantra is made with a particular intent or sankalpa, energized using siddha mantras, kept for pooja for certain number of days depending on the type of yantra.
The yantra made for you can only be worn by you and not anyone else.
So, the entire process takes about 7 - 10 days and is customized and tailored to each individual and is not mass produced.
So, all our yantras are dispatched in 12 days once the order is placed.
